Initial and renewal versions of this course are designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare and healthcare-adjacent professionals with the skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or treated with more advanced lifesaving measures.
You can blend online learning with in-person training. You may complete the e-class portion of the BLS for Healthcare Providers (Part 1) online at www.onlineaha.org. If you bring your online certificate within 30 days, Coastline CPR can monitor your hands-on BLS Skills Practice (Part 2) and your Skills Testing (Part 3). Upon passing the course, you will receive your certification card.
Heartsaver® courses teach basic CPR, AED, and other basic first aid. These courses are intended for individuals, groups, or employees who require first aid training for their job. This course is designed for the average person or group who wants to learn the basics of CPR and other first aid. You will learn how to be prepared for emergency medical situations that may arise and how to perform basic first aid, without having to get CPR certification.
This classroom course is intended for those whose job may give them a reasonable chance of being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials, and meets OSHA requirements to teach employees how to protect themselves and others if they come in contact with these materials.
